As a buyer's agent, I work exclusively for you the buyer and represent your interest only in the purchase of your new home. Buying a home, especially for the first time, is and should be an exciting adventure full of interesting considerations that perhaps you will be experiecing for the first time.
However, buying a home, especially for the first time, can be a very trying and a very demanding journey. It can be quite stressful... full of do's and don't do's...legal words and phrases...forms to be signed... places to be...and decisions to make.

As your Buyer's Agent, I will make you aware of financing options (including grants) and the lenders that offer them. We will look at houses (both online and in person) that match your budget and lifestyle and find the one that will become your home. I will research market conditions and help you to negotiate. I will be present when your home is inspected by as ASHI-certified engineer, ensuring your concerns are addressed. We will review the report together and negotiate the important items. Title search, survey, appraisal and loan commitment will be on time and any issues addressed quickly. You will move in knowing your interests came first and there is nothing to worry about but the housewarming.

The Buying Process
Here's an abbreviated version of the process of buying a home in Missouri:
- Find a lender. Determine your budget & get pre-approved
- Assess your needs and watns and prioritize them.
- Call me to set up a search for you.
- I'll send you emails with pictures and information about homes that will work for you.
- Narrow it down and we'll visit some homes in person.
- Write an offer. Get an acceptance or counter-offer.
- You're under contract! I'll send you a detailed letter with all the dates and information you should need.
- Hire an ASHI-certified inspector to inspect the home
- Negotiate any repairs/issues discovered by inspector
- Work with lender to be sure (s)he has everything needed.
- Final walk-through
- Come to closing!
